Of the three episodes so far it was the least entertaining. But I'm reliably told that tonight's mustn't be missed.

Don't know any of them by name yet so can't describe who shot who and what he said and what she did

Was disappointing at the end anyway....no mention of polar bears...or 16 year messages... hopefully tonight will be better

Ep 5 was pants. No action at all really. Starting to lose interest but will probably still watch it next week as its on series link on sky +

Just a shame as it had so much potential.

It was obvious from the start that each new episode would drag. It's the usual TV cack being rammed down our throats.

More like a collection of implausible happenings. WTF? A Walter Mitty type bloke in a wheelchair survives a plane crash (unlikely), manages to regain the use of his legs (unlikely) and immediately gets up and runs (unlikely) showing no signs of muscle wastage (unlikely) and then goes and catches a boar (unlikely) single handed (unlikely) armed with a penknife (again, unlikely).

As I said, I wanted to enjoy this programme but I'm about to bin it.

actually hes been in the wheel chair for 4years if you watched it properly

and I think he was armed with more than just a pen knife, and if you watch it I wouldnt mind betting the "monster" or what ever it is killed the boar and he just dragged it back

OK. I exaggerated but it wasn't a very big knife and I still reckon its unlikely that you could take a boar on with a Bowie knife unless its on TV.

Its still unlikely that a bloke has sufficient lower body strength to drag a boar round an island after a four stretch in a wheelchair. We may as well call this programme "The Show Where You Have To Completely Suspend All Sense Of Reality In Order To Enjoy It Or Make Sense Of A Completely Tenuous Plot" which although isn't as catchy as "Lost" is a bit nearer to the mark.

Anyway. I'm confused. Is tonight's programme a re-run of miracle boy which I saw on Sunday or a new cocktail of unbelievable events?

god your such a cheerful person.... does everything you watch has to be real life based? You know it doesnt cost you anything to use the part of your brain thats labelled "immagination" ?

I was gonna say I made it up and it wasn't a spoiler - but I figured nobody would think it was gonna happen

Its not a question of being cheerful or not. This was billed as the next best thing to sliced bread and unlike many on here I don't automatically go into sledging mode when American telly is mentioned particularly with regard to much of what HBO turns out.

As I said after the first episode, I want to enjoy this programme but as others have said in the original thread it doesn't even attempt to follow reality with some of the goings on so I'd substitute lack of imagination for your imagination.
