Never really seen the point in cosmetic surgery for non medical reasons. OK if you have a wonky eye, or have been badly burnt or such like, then fine, that I can understand, but things like breast enlargement, nose jobs, etc, never "got" why you'd want to do that, can't people be happy with themselves the way they were born?

Some could and will no doubt argue that some people have low self esteem and "fixing" their body will help raise that self esteem, but I feel there are probably other ways of doing it besides surgery.

There was a lad at school who had "Bat Ears" he suffered a little bit of name calling but not a lot TBH as far as I could see. He was actually quite a nice lad. Well it obviously bothered him enough to opt for getting his ears pinned back.
Trouble was as soon as his ears were pinned back his nose appeared to grow enormously. The rest was history, should have left nature alone.
