Saw War Of The Worlds last night, bit disapointed with the ending.

Trailer for King Kong looks very good.

Into The Blue doesnt look too bad.

Pslewis asks Snet users for advice ?
Why, surely you know better yourself ?
Just go to any cinema as long as it is cheap, no need for expensive comfy chair or good screen or even a decent film !

Yeah right. I can go to my local cinema which is a Showcase or travel a bit further to a Ster Century (although Vue have got their greasy mits on them now). They are leagues apart and tickets cost the same. Ster the seats are so comfy, loads of legroom and even if you have a 6ft8 giant in front you can still see the screen. Also you can book the exact seat you want online. Showcase is **** - small screens, chairs that feel like they will collapse at any second and also have no headrest so you cant even lean back. Sound system is pants also.

IMHO makes a big difference to films like War of the Worlds.

Shaun of the Dead is well funny. Saw Fantastic Four last night and Wedding Crashers and I preferred Fantastic 4. I loved Vince Vaughn (sp?) in Dodgeball and I normally love Owen Wilson. But I think they just tried to be too funny and it didnt work.

The Island looks worth a watch.

Simon.
