Question recommendations for 'mountain bike maintenance for dummies'.

which book???

I need something that's got everything A-Z of bike tweaking/fixing/modding I might need..
but in simple terms would be nice.
tool list would be useful too.

millions out there- and I have no idea which is worth a purchase.

I am/was a novice to bike repair, but I found this website very helpful.

Also the Haynes Manual was good for me, but have a flick through in the local bookshop, then order the book online!

I've got this one on order from Amazon at the moment Chrome. It should turn up in the next week or so - I'll let you know what I reckon to it as somebody in a similar position for bike fixing and tweaking. If you click the cover on the Amazon page you can read a few sample pages of the book.

Park tool site is a good one !
I tend to go with the "if it doesnt work as well as it used to get a new one" way of thinking.

I've got the previous edition of this book: Zinn and the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance , its not bad though I tend to know how to deal with most things on the bike as I've been playig around with them / maintaining them from an early age. It's stripping down forks / shock absorbers that I don't know too much about.
