Been to:
Kos - Kardemena - very good
Kavos - Worst place ive ever been
Crete - Malia - very good
Would be interested in views on some of the other ones, Zante, Kefalonia etc...

I went to paphos last year, I thought the resort was a little bit tacky in general, but it was very nice at the far end round the harbour and near the castle.
Its in cyprus BTW
Kefalonia was a few years ago, but as I remeber it was pretty quiet, with some nice scenery along the coast, cant really remeber the food because of the drink

Lindos on Rhodes is alright, quite quiet with no cars in the centre as its for donkey travel only!! lol
It is however on the side of a hill so theres a fairly steep walk down from the main road to the town square, and another walk down from the square to the beach.
Nice bars and grub and an open air-nightclub at on the main road just on the way out of town.
if you want your hols really quiet try symi (sp) its a wee island just a short boat trip from Rhodes town.

Go back to Kavos and throw up in the street like everybody else does. Go on, you know you want to!
Cyprus- Ayia Napa? Or possibly Rhodes, away from Faliraki but close enough to visit for a night or two?

Was about to Jeremy. Thing is it was over 12 years ago when I went there, but thought was a lovely little Island. Pulled a gorgeous Danish lass out there too so that probably influences my memory a little

Some friends went to the Mediteranee in Lassi ? in Kefalonia last year. Yes it WAS quiet BUT they had the best holiday. Wonderful sunsets and fantastic scenery. Thomsons do it methinks. Oh and they couldn't praise the hotel highly enough. Food just brilliant. People they met there had been going back year after year.

another vote here for zante, been to laganas in 2000 and Alykanas in 2003, Langanas has a fair bit of nightlife but Alykanas was great, quite and very friendly we stayed clicky fully air conditioned, newly built and 20 feet from the beach
As Phil said the airport is crap but they were expanding it last time we went, but the island itself more than makes up for it.
