Unattended baggage muppetry
I'd just like to thank the plank on the Basingstoke train out of Waterloo tonight who thought that while the train was boarding it would be a good idea to leave his bag on a seat (as if to claim it) and then leave a note on the top saying "gone to toilet" and then proceed to the toilet in the next but one carriage.
Someone sees the bag and note, asks if anyone is in toilet, toilet is empty, emergency thing is pulled, train stops, people make way to adjacent carriages to be met by the **** coming back to claim his seat.
The tool couldn't understand what the fuss was about.
250 security incidents a week caused by ignorance, especially with a rather nervous travelling public at the moment...

we used to get loads of that in Belfast - I remember walking past a security man going into university in 1990. He had spotted an unattended holdall sitting near the admin building. He picked it up and chucked it in a skip about 10 yards away - 3 seconds later - BOOM - blew the **** out of all the crap in the skip, but didn't even break a window. Security man had to be treated for shock when he realised it was a bomb and not some lazy barsteward student leaving things lying about
