It's not totally unexpected though, and those crying out "WHY!" well, bear in mind the JK does know what she is doing, and all may not be as it seems.

Spoliers are everywhere on the net as is the gossip on the Potter BBS's
If someone did not want to know then perhaps they should not view this thead as there is a clue to the content or what miight be posted by others in the title of it!
Perhaps each and every thread (on any subject) should contian a warning stating that information contained with thte thread may give a clue may pertian or even answer to the question or whatever in the title.
That way we can be sure not to ruin the suprise!

JK would look at you quizically, shake her head and laugh, and then explain that the only difference between the adult and the kids books are the actual printed covers of the books. The kids cover is usually considered to "cutesy" for adults, so they produce a non "cutesy" cover for the adult edition, and that's it, no other difference.
