Out of them I've got 1,3,4,9,11,15,29,30,35. And they are all excellent. I've heard the Athlete album but it didn't seem that brilliant to me, to samey.

What's your opinion on the Jamiroquai one? He's a bit hit and miss for me but I quite like alot of his stuff.

I'd only recommend the Foo Fighters, The Offspring and Green Day of the entire list.

I don't have Keane, or any Coldplay other than the first album (Parachutes). I don't think I have listed either?

Of that lot I've got Green Day and U2 -- the U2 album was a serious let-down if you ask me (okay, so you weren't asking but I'm telling you anyway )

Best albums I've bought recently would include:

Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil
Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth
A - Teen Dance Ordinance
Funeral for a Friend - Hours
Gotthard - Lipservice

Guess I'm just not Top 40 compatible (thank goodness)!

I'd say that was quite easy, Chris Martin (the new Bono/Geldof/Lennon IMO) is a boring self righteous w@nker who can't sing and keeps churning the same song out, whereas Keane appear to be none of the above

For the record, I own the following:

1 - James Blunt
3 - Faithless, not this one but everything on it from previous releases
5 - Keane
7 - War of the Worlds (on vinyl)
9 - Razorlight
15 - Green Day
19 - Pink Floyd
20 - Basement Jaxx
24 - KT Tunstall
26 - Gorillaz
31 - ELO
35 - White Stripes
37 - Joss Stone
38 - Sam Cooke

14/40 is pretty good for me, but I wonder how many of the current 40 are there off the back of Hyde Park
