Question Can you identify this dog ?!

Been thinking about a dog for the family, not too big, hairy etc and saw this one whilst watching a rerun of House Doctor
Anyone recognise it ? Seems like a pedigree of somesort not yr average Heinz - perhaps a more unusual breed ?
The guy was carrying it about like somekind of stuffed toy which was quite funny

Anyone have a clue ??

props to the first person to get it

Looks like a bull terrier cross of some kind.

Blimey. The only other place I've seen a basenji referred to is in Spike Milligan's war memoirs.

Lookin' at the way he's carrying it I'd say it was a white and brown version of Spit.

Bob Carolgees must have signed the rights over to that guy..
