Funny I dont remember seeing Freedom of Speech as a right of the users of this board.
In fact if you read the agreement you all signed up to when you joined you will see mods have the right to "edit, delete, or move any thread for any reason"

Hawkthe scoobyslayer....
You have fallen into the trap that Alqaeeda want. Hook line and sinker.
I think the leaders af Alqaeeda probably do want to see an "islamic" world (islamic in their definition).
But they know that only by recruiting fools to commit suicide attacks will keep them powerful. Every single muslim I know (and I know loads more than any one on this forum) certainly does NOT want to see an Islamic state/ world. Everyone Ive spoken to is devastated and frightened by thursdays atrocity.
The most encouraging thing to me though is that amongst the friends and family Ive talked to, there is a determined will to get these ****ers out and grass on anyone suspect.
The media and right wing politicians like Blair(!), like to perpetuate this " they hate our way of life" myth as if it is a view commonly held across the Muslim world.
Bull****. OBL and the people at the top might (I doubt even OBL does with all his millions).
Ideally they want to see RELIGIOUS HATRED and they certainly want to see military action from the US.
That I believe has always been the number 1 goal.
OBL must have been wetting his pants with laughter, when we invaded iraq. More recruits . It was an extremely stupid move for us to make and has probably increased the number of potential suicide bombers across the world drastically.
Virtually all pro al-qaeeda propaganda apparently contains references to Iraq and the Occupation.
(If Blair had an ounce of intelligence, he would have not dragged us into it. We could have just let the Yanks get on with it. They were strong enough anyway.
We could have just been at home letting them do all the dirty work.)
Military action will undoubtedly result in fairly large numbers of casualties, all who have relatives, and whose loss will inspire them and other "radicals" across the world to take up arms.
I know some of you will totally disagree with the Iraq argument, but this "war on terror" isnt working.
No one is saying you cant use lethal means, or that you have to be an "apologist" to terror.
But perhaps a little forethought ,intelligence and covert action might be the order of the day in future.
(assasinating Saddam rather than steam rollering the country might have been better.)
