It is with deepest regret.....
That we have to inform you of our tradegy. on saturday morning after letting him out on the garden we found our beloved sharpie "storm" lying dead in the grass. he was our bright light and our special boy he will never be replaced. We thought it right to post this on SN as he was loved by lots of scoobyclinic customers and friends alike.
"storm" 19/9/01-9/7/05 RIP
This must be the hardest post i have ever written with tears flowing as I type, god I miss him.

So sorry mate, do you know what happened? Lost our Boxer back in 2003 and it's still hard for me today, hope he didn't suffer
Cheers

Very sorry to hear that! Lost our puppy 1 week before she reached 2 years old - felt like we lost a child - we still get upset about it now - although we were lucky enough to get offered one of her family - so we now have another "special" puppy!

Thank you all for your kind words.
He had a few liver problems last year but was on ther road to recovery, on friday my brothers Staff played with him in the garden for a few hours and we think the exercise may have been the last straw.
it is like the above post we feel as if we have lost a child we loved him so so much. I'm not religous but God bless him!

So sorry to hear this.
We lost our first Boxer @ 7 months due to cardiomyopathy. We had her out in the fields and she turned a shade of grey. I ran back to the house to get the car to get to the vets only to arrive back to find the wife lying on the pavement in floods of tears with the dog in her arms.
It is a hard, hard thing to get over.
All the best to you all.

Really sorry to hear it Ads, he was a great dog, my kids always looked for him when we were at Clinic.
We were exactly the same as you when we lost our 7 year old Cocker Spaniel "Bengy" in 2001 they diagnosed cancer and in 2 weeks he'd gone, hardest thing iv'e ever done bar none was taking him to the vets that morning to be put to sleep
Really sorry for you all

Ads that's totally awful, mate
Had the pleasure of going to the 'clinic (Named your legacy the 'aircraftcarrier').
Been in the same boat as you a few years back. It really really gets you in the gut.
Dogs really are part of the family.
Time will make it easier.
All I can suggest is, give it a few month to heal then get yourself over to a dog rescue kennel.
We did that after my old 13 year old dog died.
I'd intended to get either another rough collie or an alsatian, but we ended up with a whippet/lurcher cross.
She'd been nearly kicked to death, had lost all her fur, was nearly skin and bone and was very very timid.
When we got her in the house she didn't bark and couldn't connect with people.
Gradually over time she started to gain confidence and settled down to a good life.
She's now completly daft, and after a day dealing with s**heads there's nothing better than walking in the door to see her completly losing her mind when I walk in.
Always puts a big smile on me face
It really is the best treatment for losing a mate.
All the best mate

Even a confirmed dog hater/cat lover like me has to say he was a stunning looking pooch. Its not fair to lose a pet like that, it hurts right now, but you will start to feel better.....

Ads,
So sorry to hear of your bad news. When a much loved pet dies it feels like they take something of you with them. What is more likely is that they give you a capacity to love them as unconditionally as they love you and it's not being able to share that which leaves the void. The sadness passes, but the good memories and the capacity for love and affection remain. That is a pet's legacy and its eternal gift to you.
Storm wouldn't want you to be sad. Remember the good times and remember -above all else- to continue to share the gift Storm gave you.
Feel better,
Paul.
