Default Paddington to EC2 (Circle\Hammersmith)

The line is currently closed, does anyone know when it is likely to reopen, and alternatively the quickest way (and how long it will take) to get from Pad to Liverpool St area on Monday?

If your train stops in Ealing Broadway (10 minutes before Paddington) another alternative is to get on to the Central Line. It takes about 35-40 minutes direct to Liverpool Street, but at least you get a seat and it's a 'better' service than most of the other lines.

Depends if your train stops there.

Mark.

PS my commute so far is 25 mins to Swindon train station(incl Parking)
1 hour 5 mins to Paddington
10 min wait for tube train
30 mins to liverpool st
5 min walk

2 hours 15 mins on a good day.

Extend that by 15-20 mins on a good day and I'd rather stay home. I've one week left in my job!!!

Paddington to Oxford Circus - 9-10 minutes
Oxford Circus to Liverpool Street - 11-12 minutes

That's the journey times (not including waiting, delays, etc) normally.

I haven't been in town the last few days, so I can't comment how bad the tube is at the moment.
