Shimla's good, but as Ray sez, kinda depends on how much you want to spend. Use to also hang out at the Tepenyaki (sp?), but it was pricey. Good, but pricey

stuggling, The Living Room and Zinc are both nice venue's but the food is on a par with a cheap pub, The Banks OK but pricey, Bar Estilo and Malmaison in the Mailbox arnt bad- bit more relaxed than Broad Street as well.

Mailbox is very expensive (IMHO) There are much better places to eat - Broad Street is your best bet, or down into the Chinese 1/4...........

Tell them about it after all it was in the Evening Mail, Twice..! WC Shiff, sniff

If you want Indian you won't beat Regards Five Ways, the best Indian in Birmingham for over 15 years..!

Cheap, good scoff, then you won't beat Big Wok in china town ~£6 evening grand buffet, eat as much as you like and drinks are very reasonable, bit cafe like though.

Money no object then try Simpsons. Michellin stars abound.

The wife went on a hen night on Sunday, ate at the China Court Restaurant (china town) and then next door to Legs 11..! Had a great night, Chinese very good £15 each set meal and excellent salami's available in Legs 11 if you're still hungry..!

Or so she says..!

Le Petit Blanc in Brindley Place is nice. As is the Thai place opposite.

Zinc ok but the portions are to small.

Living Room ok but your not missing much.

Jimmy Spices good for stuffing your face.

New Indian underneath Jiimmys and nex to zinc is excellent. (Favorite place to eat at the moment think its called manzo.)
