Make Poverty History March, Edinburgh
Well, I was there....felt good. 249,999 others also turned up.
I truly believe everyone was there to protest about poverty. There wasn't any sweetner like at Live8
Why does one need pop bands to draw us into making a mark. It was rawer than that....
Small group of 50 protesters cordoned off by the cops, but seemed to be performed without violence. Well done to the cops.
Only downside? Dozens of burger vans, with queues a hundred meters long at each one!! Err....a poverty march was it not
Kinda ironic.
Ah well, still a good day.

It didn't help earlier when someone going to Live8 at Hyde Park was interviewed on SkyNews and asked how he felt about the poverty aspect :
"Not really been following it mate...".
Doh! Ar$e!

Nope! You'd think so, but no.

Didn't have anything as it happened. Just laughed at those in the queues getting impatient at having to wait for their burgers & chips
