Default Which petrol strimmer/brushcutter?

.......for rough grass, general scrub and tidying round trees etc?

Have seen Ryobi.....Echo and Stihl but can't decide.

Any comments/suggestions welcome!

Can vouch for Ryobi. We bought and used one to clear 4 acres of scrubland which included brambles(8 ft high), saplings and grass up to yr waist. Was a doddle with the 2 point blade(like a lawnmower blade) Make sure you get the harness, helmet with face guard/ear defenders and safety glasses though. It absolutely wrecks if you get hit with the flying bits of wood. Oh and wear old jeans, cos you'll get covered in grass stains. HTH

P.s. Forgot to say that the strimmer head for it is a bit fiddly, but is very good for tidying up after the brushcutting bit
