Good on the bloke trying to stop the council using Battersea park for themselves!!! What right do they have to use public property and fence it off, stopping us having access. We need people like this guy to keep councils in check.

I caught the last two thirds of this programme, and found it a little sad. If people think that mental illness is forgetting your childrens names and dribbling into mashed bananas, they are sadly mistaken.
All three were so obviously suffering; The chap who's wife died in '96 and he pushed people away ever since, even the interviewer at the end, rather than be left. The woman who had a succesfull, jet-setting, full life and couldn't bear to let go into obscurity. And the chap who was seeing a place he loved be taken away by a jobs-worth council.
These people are not in the same book, let alone on the same page, as the scum that rob and terrorise for there own pleasure.

I was trying to work out what motivated those poeple. I think Rioja has got a good point there. However, in some ways, they really did want to be malicious.....
