BEST INDECENCY ARREST
George Best is "totally innocent" of claims he indecently assaulted a young girl, his agent has insisted.
The football legend is said to have attacked the under-13-year-old at an address in Surrey last month.
Best, 59, was arrested and questioned by Surrey Police on June 9 and released on bail until next month.
His agent Phil Hughes described the claims against him as "outrageous" and "totally unfounded".
"George is totally innocent. We will defend this vigorously," he declared.
He vowed that Best would sue his acusers once he had been cleared.
Last week the former Manchester United star was questioned for nine hours by police in Staines over another alleged incident.
He was said to have punched a 34-year-old woman outside the home of his ex-lover, Gina Devivo, in Ewell, Surrey.
The questioning was delayed because Best had a facial injury from an incident the previous week involving his then lover, Ms Hollidge.
She was cautioned by police as a result of the incident
Best, who had a liver transplant after years of alcohol abuse, is said to have been staying with his ex-wife Alex at their former home.
