Question Puppies - not the bouncy kind!!

I'm after a puppy - anyone know of any available??

The 'spec' I'm after:

Bitch
Short haired
Terrier
Small
Free

Ideally a Jack Russell type. I don't care if it's a mix of 50 other types of dog but must be small when fully grown.

I'm not being tight when saying I want a free dog - I'm not a fan of poeple who breed animals for money and won't fuel the trade. Well. ok, maybe I'm a bit tight LOL.

If anyone can help I'd be most happy. I'm in N London but a 50/60 mile trips fine for the little bundle.

Ta

BTW, I don't mind if the dog's a year or so old.

West Highland Terriers are nice as well.

This site may give you a few other ideas, complete the questions and see what breed it suggests (it is US based so some of the breeds are not available over here)

Have you tried ebay? You seem to get all your other bargains from there

Personally I'd recommend a Staffy over a Jack Russell

Staffs are a bit chewy and take longer to cook.

I had JRs as a kid and love them. I'm not fussed about the breed as long as it's short haired and a lady. Not many Staffs about for nothing, though.

The little fella in the link is drawing my interest.

I know he got a *****, but he's a little cutie and needs a home:

Yep, I'm going for a rescue dog.

The dog in the link is imminent after a home check.

Picked him up today. He's a little bugger and has already murdered a frog from the back garden!

He farted the whole way back from the rescue place and then peed on the carpet!

The old dogs make me beer money

He's a Jack Russell - maybe mixed with something else. A great little lad - friendly and does as he's told, even at 14 weeks old.

Yep, he's 100% on the ball. So much so that I can't let off the lead!

He sees a moving 'squirell, cat, dog, leaf, train, car, person' and that's it - he's off.

I lost him the other day and spent 4hrs driving around/calling agencies/walking on the fields, and only found him through luck. He's chipped but the chippers are a ****e help as they will not link post codes with reports. Imagine your friend going missing and your back-up failing you.................

We got the lad back through luck - a local builder tried the numbe on his collar but got a crap response, so tried the local caretaker - luckily we'd told him our dog had gone,so Bob's your uncle.

Look at him and tell me he's not a beauty!!!!!!!!!!:
