Yeah, I think the jingles are daft too. Thought it was just me.

I just find it distracting, but hey, I may write to then and let them know some time soon

Is it that high-pitched chinking sound during interviews?

I thought that it was some "digital artifact" from FreeView (although it also appears on analogue).

If it is intentional, then it is highly irritating. Why do TV production nerds have to use every bit of technology available in every program they make?
