Default Michael Jackson - the Scoobynet verdict

Looks like the case is coming to a close. What is the opinion of the Scoobynet jury?

Mods - I suspect that as this is an American case there are no legal problems, but if I'm wrong please delete this thread.

I thought of an option like that, but his jury won't have that choice; they've only got options 1 and 2. I've given more options than the jury will get.

I suspect he's guilty of some kind of inappropriate behaviour that falls short of sexual abuse. I expect him to be acquitted, but he needs to undergo some kind of emotional or psychiatric treatment.

I think its more a case of 1 and 3. Something untoward has to have gone on as too many of these "incidences" have occured. He's been largely allowed to do exactly what he wants without anyone ever saying no to him.

It is shocking though the way all those involved are all out to milk the situation for all its worth.

Que sick jokes

I personally think that someone with that amount of money could 'buy' a child if they were that way inclined, very wrong I know but these things happen.

Jacko should never have been alone with any of the children in question that way none of the allegations could have been made.

What I want to know is:

after all the previous high profile reports of him with children, WTF were the parents of the kids who have since been to his ranch thinking of??

$$$$s, I'd say.

Money comes too mind Don't get me wrong can't stand him, but would hate for him to be charged with something he didn't do.

ok, I'll explain. There has been far to much evidence aginst him for me to even consider the possibility of him being innocent. They find pictures of kids at his house, and for as long as I can remember, there has always been something in court involving him in child abuse allegations.

a simple case of smoke and fire IMHO.

so answer the question, would you send your little cherubs?

As I don't have any, so maybe wrong person to answer but I would have to say no as I wouldn't risk it as you NEVER know. Sounds a bit backwards I know but I still think he's innocent. Saying that I wouldn't encourage any small child sleeping in a non relatives bed overnight-maybe a sad state of affairs but just a reflection of the sick world we live in

fair point. As much as I belive there is some substance to the allegations, you believe there isn't. They are both cynical views to take, I see jackson as the culprit, you see the money grabbers to be at fault. TBH, its all bollocks as neither of us, or the SN lynch mob/ jacko fan club know the real truth behind it. Its up to the courts at the end of the day, we can discuss things further in the " how the Fcuck did jacko get off with it" thread in a few days time

Agree with that none of us (or anyone outside that court room) know the full truth and are qualified to make a 'proper' guess, just from what we 'feel' and/or see/read etc in the press.

*that* goes without saying, why waste keystrokes including it as a poll option?

Geoff I'm also of the "no smoke without fire" thought, but what consitutes sexual abuse? I don't think any of the accusers are suggesting that penetration took place; the accusations are that he introduced them to the art of masturbation. Fair enough, they'd find this out for themselves eventually, but what if LF was staying with one of his heroes for a weekend and the hero tossed him off? Would you say that that was not sexual abuse?

Quite agree that (assuming that he is guilty) he needs some sort of treatment. I thought that option 3 would be the one with the most clicks, but I'm wrong.

Given the majority here believed the chaos. deaf dumb and blind kid act, I doubt that the MJ poll here will be an accurate prediction of the verdict.

I expect him to be found guilty. He's obviously a head case, as all pedos are. After being accused in the past and paying hush money, surely a non-pedo would *never* allow the same circumstances to occur again?

The acid test for his supporters is whether they would trust him to look after their kids? I know I wouldn't....
