Default nokia probs

I have had nokia phones for a few years now but i seem to be getting a recurring problem, This is that the phones that i have had seem to turn themselves off!..
I think it may be something to do with the way the battery sits but on previous phones they have been very tempremental and my present phone is very bad and i have trouble even keeping it on.

Now i do keep getting nokias because they have never been as bad as the present model and the odd one i have had has been fine but i'd like your input to see if this is just a petey problem and that i am cursed by nokia, or maybe it happens across the board?.

I have put the phone in to be repaired once but i got it back and it seems to be exactly the same? It is going back shortly though

Had the odd issue with a 6310i switching off momenterily then coming back again when sitting in the handsfree kit in the car, but that's about it.

Is it one model in particular you are having trouble with?
You do know they can't be used as a substitute tennis ball don't you?

Nokia's are easiest to use but quality wise seem pretty wak.

Mine has an issue, as with ALL my previous Nokia's of going quiet when talking on the phone, like the internal speaker loses connection. Only way to fix is to quickly shake the phone whilst talking - problem is it makes me look a right spak when I do it. Much to the amusement of friends and colleagues!!

My old 9110 did this the older it got. After a couple of years I sent it back to Carphone Whorehouse who got a replacement unit from Nokia after a couple of weeks, and 4 mths later sent it on to me . The replacement eventually started to do this as well, but finally I dropped it in a taxi and went out and bought a SE P910.

Happened occasionally with wife/sons 3210, but not so bad.

Nokia quality is only getting worse. Try a Samsung, you won't look back.

XDAs are good but they are primarily a PDA. The ergonomics just don't work for me as a phone. Best try one out first and see what you think.
