Have rarely seen someone kick USA *** like that.

Cool

I truly and desperately hope that he is the exception to the rule as far as high profile politicians go

The line about Donald Rumsfeld's frequent visits, and the reason for them killed me:

I thought stealing the ***-kissing dyke's seat from under her was going to be his career highlight

I must admit, he did ram their week accusations right up their *****

Whether you agree with his politics or not it's hard not to feel pleased at the way he shot them down in flames LOL.

I would love him to read and comment on the stuff posted on here about how fragile our cars are and how they need 'special' treatment!!

He would eat most of the muppets alive .... imagine him being told that the **** Oil Change needs to be done on his car!! PMSL!!

Thumbs up

I sat, transfixed, watching the whole of his "session" on the BBC New24 multi-screen thingumajig.

The guy was brilliant, and apart from the bit where he avoided putting down one of his "friends" he had the upper-hand at least 20 feet above the US Senate guys.

And the fact that he made aschoolboy error himself in accusing a Senator who had voted against the war, or supporting it.

Good performance, but I still don't trust what he says. The party's better off without him.

Agreed - there's no place for socialists or men of principle (Except Gogsie Brown of course) in New Labour.

Just pulled this from a related story on the BBC website

'Meanwhile, the right-wing Fox News channel described the British parliamentarian as an "arch-leftie British MP".'

Fox political commentator Eric Shawn said Mr Galloway had "put on quite a show".

Funny that, I wonder who owns Fox News? Oh, yes, Rupert Murdoch, the same guy who owns Tony Bliar

Hello

I was impressed with:

"I have had two meetings with Saddam Hussein, one in 1994 and once in August of 2002. By no stretch of the English language can that be described as many meetings with Saddam Hussein."

As a matter of fact, I've met with Saddam Hussein exactly the same number of times as Donald Rumsfeld met him. The difference is Donald Rumsfeld met him to sell him guns and to give him maps to better target those guns.

Senator Coleman and his monkeys thought they could just carry on with their usual - repeat lies often enough and people will believe them - it worked over the war. They obviously didn't realise Galloway was going to bother turning up to kick their butts.

Much as I dislike his views and his politics I really admired the way he came out fighting and spitting venom at them. And quite rightly too, how dare they?

I don't fully trust him but setting that aside it was one of the most impressive 'presentations' I have seen. Truely riveting TV.

He spoke for over 10 minutes without reading from notes, rarely missed a beat, no umming or arring etc in the face of photographers moving about in front of him.

He then answered a set of prepared questions (without much time to preapre) without getting ruffled. Not a hint of perspiration!

It may have been more of a challenge for him if the Yanks had a) some brains and b) had actually researched the paper.

Only thing I can fault him for was the use of the phrase schoolboy howler, should have been schoolboy error

The only thing that did not impress me was the way he was pictured as "sucking up" to SH when he met him.

Apart from that I agree with what has been said about his outstanding performance in the Senate Inquiry, and enjoyed seeing them being taken apart. I also enjoyed the way he responded to Paxman's unnecessarliy rude and unfair questioning.

That's not definite, they say they might. But it's a nice little way of putting doubt in people's minds. In the same way talk of supposed documents and unnamed witnesses was banded about.

I met him yesterday @ Euston...great guy, great speaker, fantastic charasmatic personality.

I am not sure about his party's policies....but thats my opinion.
