Default Think I may have got somebody pregnant...

How worried / concerned am I ?

Really not sure what to do. Have been seeing this person (5 months) but nobody knows we are having a relationship due to many difficult circumstances.

I'm certainly not ready for children and fairly sure she isn't either but really don't know what to do or say. I'm afraid if I mention the dreaded termination word that she will think I am an insensitive so and so (and not sure I could do this either). I think that is probably for the best but equally I was part of this and would stand by her all the way.

The way I feel this morning is indescribable.

What on earth do I do ? ? ?

chopper.

Money is not an issue or the issue. This is about her being pregnant.

For the record though she has a lot of money (not far from being a millionairess) and certainly doesn't need or want mine. This is part of the reason nobody knows about us.

hmm in that case, its not the money its the responsibility of having a baby, taking up all your time, etc. Plus can you see yourself with this person in a few years time ?

Do anything you can to encourage her to have a termination. The last thing this country needs is another unwanted baby. Harsh but true.

Sorry, I disagree that unborn children should be killed any more than those already outside the womb!

From population size in UK - we do actually need to increase...

'Unwanted baby' - crazy... there are thousands of couples desperate to adopt a baby.

There are responsibilities associated with having sex...

You could try fatherhood - many of us who weren't 'too keen' at the initial thought (so what do you think about starting a family... ) could not now imgine life without our kids (and would not want to) - You do have to give up a lot of selfish stuff - but the rewards are ENORMOUS ! - And if she's well off - they could be even bigger

Cheers

Mick

Tell her exactly what you've said there ^, be honest and talk to her, ask her how she feels, tell her how you feel but again, be honest. Ultimately though she will make the decision as to whether she goes ahead with the pregnancy or not. The best you can do is be there for her whichever option she chooses.

I disagree... there are very few problems that wouldn't benefit from a reduction in the number of human beings on our little island.

The moral side of it is a different matter though, and largely down to personal opinion...

Obviously I would prefer to terminate a more worthy adult and let the baby have a chance, but abortion at 30 yrs old isn't legal!

I don't believe in abortion, especially for your own convenience. Totally morally wrong to kill a child to get yourself off the hook, born or unborn. But thats just my personal view.

Whatever you do, its your responsibilty just as much as hers and you should play fair by them both.

I meant i cant believe your posting up your private life on a website. Have some dignity.

Show her respect and talk to her not anyone else. At end of day its both of you have to make the decision and noone else!
