Kitchen Power, you can buy it in Sainsbury's. Has a logo on the bottle that says
" Shock, this product really works!"
And it does. They do a bathroom power too.

Was told to use baby oil by an appliance retailer. Never tried it though.

as per GSM's post, have also been told to use baby oil to clean up stainless steel and leave it looking pucka for the customer.
Also came in handy with the fit 40 something owner (female) that had been flouncing around all week in very little / see thro' clothing

Bob (No it didn't happen to me)

Wash with HOT soapy water (if it's fatty), then spray WD40 onto a kitchen towel & wipe vertically. Change the towel frequently & DON'T scrub or use a circular motion unless you want scratches.
This does work & leaves an excellent finish, (I fitted stainless instead of tiles in the kitchen in my last house including the window ledge !)

Johnsons baby wipes work a treat, or as Dunk says WD40 on a kitchen towel

WD40, but wipe it in the direction of the grain on the metal (if its dull / satin polished, as opposed to bright annealed)
