Mortgage advice ?
I'm looking to buy my first house and was wondering were is currently the best place to get mortgage advice and mortgage deals?

Try and find an IFA who comes recommended i.e. from friends, family, etc.
As a first time buyer the estate agents will be pushing to get you to use their in house IFA (if they have one) but don't be pressured into using anyone.
Some IFA's are sharks and will recommend a lender/product that pays them the lagest referel fee and as opposed to the best deal for you. Some of the mortgage offers I see are shocking but unfortunately most people simply don't understand what they are signing up for.
