New Labour to adopt Tory health policies.
Well would you believe it New Labour have seen the light and are going to send more and more people to the private sector for their operations. Patricia Hewitt says £3billion will be spent on the private sector treatment over the next 5 years.
The Tories got slated for their plans to pay 50% of private ops which gave people a choice oif where to have treatment.
Now NL will pay 100% of these ops taking even more money away from the NHS.
I wonder why they didnt mention this policy two weeks ago before the election.
Over to you Lewis

"Patricia Hewitt says £3billion will be spent "
...and don't forget, that isn't Patricia Hewitt's money, thats our money being squandered like there is no tomorrow
Who cares? NL are still flush with the 60-odd tax rises, and the five billion a year pension theft, and the "windfall taxes", and 20-odd billion from mobile phone frequency auctions, and selling off our gold reserves at market bottom prices etc.

I see it reported today that out of £6.7 Billion spent on the NHS. 0.8 was spent on patients and the £5.9 Billion left was spent on NHS Trust staff increases and salary increases.
Must keep the bureaucracy icreasing of course-it keeps the unemployment figures down, even if we pay for it out of all those taxes etc.
