"Being brown is very important to me. It suits me better. I just can't imagine being white," she said.
I don't remember anyone sayin' it was white boy day today. Hey, is it white boy day today?
Name the film

Wonder if she'd still prefer to be brown if she started getting racist remarks because she was seen as being non-white?
One would really like to know her true reasons for prefering to be brown rather than white.
As for the quote, it's from True Romance and it's Drexl (Gary Oldman) asking Marty:
[In the Night Club after Drexel has beaten Clarence]
Drexl Spivey: He must have thought it was white boy day. It ain't white boy day, is it?
Marty: No man, It ain't white boy day.

what i want to know is how much pocket money does she get? Sunbedsx5 times a week are not cheap!!!
If i was a mother ( which i'm not), I would want to know where the hell she was spending all the money - as if the transformation from 'ghost' to 'brown as a berry' didnt give her some clues...

Natural selection- there are too many of this type of people stealing/using resources better apportioned to useful members of society.
Similar to tobacco smokers when they die it will be to the benefit of the rest of us. My only caveat to this is the waste of resources treating these scumbags.

Daft, but not exactly a shock given the image obsessed society we live in. Apparently scientists are close to coming up with a pill that will give you a tan - aimed intially at people who have medical conditions where their skin doesn't produce enough melanin to protect them, and Austalians - 2 in 3 of whom will develop some form of skin cancer during their lifetime.
Bound to end up on the beauty shelves though.....

Crap. Being developed "ostensibly" for health reasons, but in fact because they know they'll make a packet out of people's vanity. There's no AIDS cure as a half a billion Africans won't pay for it.

You and me both - my neck will start to slough in the next few days due to me getting carried away while trying to teach the dog to swim on Monday lunchtime, and spending 2.5 hours out rather than the usual 1. I normally cover up, and just accept it. My ex-boss died of skin cancer, I'd prefer not to follow him.

Oh, really? Congrats all round
Yeah, of course this is Tucha. We first took this one to the beach in November, and of course when the waves rushed in we ran away, and he followed us - so he learned to be afraid. Gradually he's got better, and Monday was momentous - rather than splashing in ankle-deep, I slowly worked him up to getting his entire underside wet! Meanwhile another local weim owner turned up and said "how the hell do you get yours into the water?" His is a month younger, apparently loved it as a little pup until getting bowled over by a wave, hasn't gone near it since then. Understandable.
