Property Ladder
Anyone else watching, anyone else want to smack that bloke with the goatee, goes away having left instructions and a mate overseeing the job, then bawls the builder out for doing what he was told, smug ****, hope he doesnt make a penny out of it.
I noticed his mate didnt come in for any criticism,
His wife was quite nice though.

He might have been all of those things but he still turned in a nice profit on the first place (although it was back in 2003 when house prices were still climbing) and the project didn't overun and he had huge bo**ocks to do what he did with the second property.
At the end of the day they were in it to make a profit and they did it.
It was no where near the fiasco half of these tw*ts seem to get themselves into.

(currently thinking about a bit of property renovation myself, but have I left it too late?)

They did well on the first house but making a £300 saving by removing electrical fittings in an 80k project was plain stupid. 800k for that second house? Keep dreaming. 800k will buy a grand detached house in that area in 2005!

I thought the Atrium / walkway showed their design roots in office design !! Looked just like where I work TBH. I just cannot see them making that much on the 2nd project for a 3 bedroom house like that. For that money you can get a 5 bedroom/3 bath detached house with decent garden and garage. Why buy that place ? They could have done so much more I reckon.

he was arogant but then so should anyone be with the ***** to quit work and walk the talk (as opposed to armchair builders on here)
builder was a dick...that beam was insane "but you could make a toy box"
wife was fat
SB does not look good with Dawn Fench's chest
Bloke made decent money....fair play for once.

Bloke with goatee was Eddie Jordan with a few extra pounds
Oh... and the wife certainly didn't do it for me

the whole beam thing was stupid.
What was the point in his mate overseeing the project if he didn't pick up on that. Then after moving the beams all they did was put a chest of drawers there, which could have had a step up to anyway, in fact would have been better as you could have turned it in to seating area under the window!
