Blunkett seems like an OK-ish bloke. The trouble is, stuff like ID cards he really believes in. It's not like he wants to stitch us up; he is convinced that they're the solution to the problem. And there's no reasoning with someone like that.

what was the liars first major failing..
There will be no sleaze....
how long was it before it popped up.................. blimey 2 weeks ....
then we had mandelson.............. not once but twice....
and not minor discretions either!!
nothing like Tone to flick the V,s at people.....
and then there was his henchman, sorry deputy..... belts a heckler, realy sets a good example to the electorate!!!
and then his home secratay ... who did not do anything wrong, so why resign..
but hang on,, slimey sleaze 24 hrs in and blunkeys back.....
you watch, mandelson will be comming back again..
and what about the 100,000 his mrs took from a childrens cancer charity for an after dinner speech........
new labour, new sleaze, new contempt, and we couldnt give a toss about you all

I'm never sure whether the vote is determined by The Sun, or whether they just lean the way the vote is going. The former implies that some 5 million people are influenced by what a rag with less intellect than a 5-year old tells them to do. Which is a worry
