Blunkett seems like an OK-ish bloke. The trouble is, stuff like ID cards he really believes in. It's not like he wants to stitch us up; he is convinced that they're the solution to the problem. And there's no reasoning with someone like that.

No... he is a power crazed loony. Sort your character judgment skills out.

carl 06 May 2005 10:57 PM

Well, apart from that he seems an OK-ish bloke ;)

Don't think I support him as a politician -- I'm a card-carrying member of the Conservative party (note that I didn't vote for IDS when it was leadership battle time, either)

Luminous 06 May 2005 11:09 PM

I quite like Blunkett, he seems to be about the only honest popular Labour MP. I don't agree with his ideas, but at least he is honest about things, nanny included.

mart360 07 May 2005 12:24 AM

NL,

Spot on. He's one of the most arogant people out there. Fine if your good, but hes another incompetant. How do NL manage to get 1 person to vote for them, let alone millions. Personally i still think we are stuck with the problem of many people ignoring politics untill election time then saying "im voting tony in because he seems like a nice man". People do not realise how much it affects them.
All i can say is bring back Haig.

If this gov. is so good (as u seem to believe) why should I even want to move jobs?????.....................exactly............ not being funny but i've seen more jobs go under Labour than ever went under Tory. I work in Hampshire?, thats no answer like I work in Finance WTF! (& I used to think u were o.k)! U obviously don't give a ...... unless you're windin' someone up.

Well whatever turns u on toss p0tt, I'm off to bed with my sexy bit of stuff, see ya tomorrow

because "The Sun" didn't tell them to vote conservative. So they did what "The Sun" told them to do at the last election - vote labour.

carl 07 May 2005 12:55 AM

I'm never sure whether the vote is determined by The Sun, or whether they just lean the way the vote is going. The former implies that some 5 million people are influenced by what a rag with less intellect than a 5-year old tells them to do. Which is a worry

Leslie 07 May 2005 11:33 AM

On the original point of this thread, it just goes to demonstrate the real morality of NL.
