Default Need some help finding some statistics

Hi everyone,

Im looking for some help with some statistics im trying to find.

I need to find out what the monetry value of "Older" peoples spends, ie what percentage of money the older members of the population commit to the economy and by what percentage its growing. Ive searched for an hour or so but cant find anything. Any help would be appreciated .

Also the other statistic im after is a little strange but ....

I need to try and find the percentage of people that go on to purchase a particular brand of tools / items because they trained on them, in preferance to other alternatives.

Cheers

Stu

have you tried here: http://www.statistics.gov.uk/default.asp for the spending stats? might take a while to wade through it all though!!

No idea about the tool stuff - it depends whether anyone's ever done a survey on it before. Maybe you'll have to get a clipboard and get out to the town centre tomorrow
Good Luck

Thanks for that Angel-eyes. That is a mighty handy ref. I have it bookmarked now. As for going to town with a clipboard, I think I may come back with a black eye after asking some bruiser what type of tool he prefers to handle

Men are a bit sensitive about their tools aren't they?
