"My husband thought the dog had knocked something over downstairs, but as he got to the bedroom door he could see the hole in the wall and all the furniture moved," she said.
What type of dog is that

Personally I cannot see the problem. If that happened to me in my M3 I would have banked to the left, brought the nose down with a touch of left rudder, when it had turned away from the house I would have rolled the car to level flight and rounded out to touch down on the lawn!

This is weird. My brother had a narrow escape today when a BMW came off the A1 at Brotherton and smashed into his works building, destroying the toilet block. He was sitting at the computer not two yards away from the impact.
Driver walked away unharmed except for a scratch on his hand.

Update on the incident at my brother's work. Our kid had a close call, but nothing like as close as his mate Lionel who was in the toilet block at the time of the 330ci's unscheduled entry. He was standing having a **** in the urinals, when the car apparently came through the wall behind him, destroying a couple of toilet stalls and embedding pieces of ****-pot into the opposite wall. The room was instantly filled with clouds of white dust.
According to our kid, there was an almighty crash, followed by the sound of a massive commotion upstairs -mostly variations upon the theme of WTF!? Then Lionel came staggering out of the toilets covered in dust, dishevelled and ashen-faced just like his namesake Lionel Jefferies who used to get blown up all the time in those old B&W comedy films, shouting "Everybody out, it might blow up!"
My brother's taken some photos so I'll try to get some up as soon as possible. .

I am aware of an incident, some years back, where a chap in an XR2 was involved in an accident that rolled the car. He left the car, at speed, via the sunroof and was knocked out by the impact.
On coming to, I should point out here that it was dark at the time, he found himself basically unharmed and so got on his feet and promptly broke both his legs by walking off the shed roof that he had landed on. I think there was a combination of very lucky and very unlucky in there somewhere.
