Why is it that those who are hard up always waste any extra penny they get??

They either smoke it, **** it up the wall, gamble it or shoot-up??

Did they get destitute by acting like this in the first place or do they not have any sense of how to hold on to money?

Suppose they haven’t got enough money in the first place to buy or do things that interest them so they end up turning to drink, drugs or gambling to get a little pleasure/excitement out of life

I was wondering that - it could have an MOT I suppose and maybe the remainder of the months Tax ...... but, insurance??? Yeah RIGHT!!

Which is a worry, if he killed your family you would not have much comeback to anyone ....... or if he paralyised you in an accident you would end up in poverty!!

Not so Pete; all insurance companies pay into a fund to cover damages claims against uninsured drivers. It costs us all dearly though.

With that **** B.Liar running the country you have two choices - get destitute spending it on yourself, or get destitute paying tax so they can blow it on creating new jobs in that all important department 'civil service jobs for the homeless and destitute so no-one notices that manufacturing is feked'

I think I prefer blowing it on me

But if you have loads of kids and are an asylum seeker you will be looked after well .... did you see that guy in the papers the other day living in a 600,000 pound house paid for by us? And you often see folks on 40 grand a year with six or seven kids and no job living in the lap of luxury, swimming pool and all ...............

Very true.

Theres a tramp who begs in the city centre where i am. Hes been there as long as i can remember, at least 8 months or so.

Fair enough you might say, but then who do i come across shovelling pound after pound in the roulette machine in Corals last week?

And then he hangs around bothering people asking for 20p....

Not surprisingly he didnt get much sympathy.

I told him to fu7k himself and get a job they don't like that do they. other than that id probably be happy to give him a kicking

Begging is actually a very well paid job if you know what you're doing and know where to go to do it. Some people claim to have made hundreds of pounds a day (tax free of course) simply by asking for it...

Not saying that I agree with it but until begging is made illegal and all homeless people burned to heat orphanages and prisons, I can't see things changing much.

My thoughts exactly - it did NOT have a tax disc on the windscreen when he drove it away as I looked especially..... - mind you what do you expect for £70....

Terrible, and the bloody Lib Dems are on about local income taxing, and lower income families not having to pay council tax, so they would get even lazier/stoned/pissed while we all pay for them.

I do feel sorry for them in that programme (a tiny bit), but I also strongly believe in survival of the fittest.

Errr - it is illegal under the 1824 Vagrancy Act - in fact under section 1 and 6 you can demand of a constable that he arrest said vagrant and have him before the magistrate the next day. Not sure on the use of vagrants for central heating purposes though ........

Think you'll find the answer here - just reading it at the moment and it really pulls together just how third world the UK is becoming. 15000 people dying every year because of the NHS, nearly 25% of UK adults illiterate (older article), people lounging around in benefit traps, (all) governments manipulating figures. If you care about the state of the country it's an excellent read.......

Can't be arsed ..... something must have developed on the thread, not of my doing.

I can't see whats wrong with a question asking why Farmers are moaning about having to pay 30p a litre for their Diesel!? The question is a simple question and of public interest .... just because some can't accept certain questions is no reason to delete!

Anyway I'm sure I will survive
