Property ladder
Same old, same old.
They must put an ad in the paper.
"Wanted - utter numpty to be made a fool of on national telly. Apply, Beany Boobies".
Where do they get these people!

I haven't watched Property Ladder in ages but having seen today's it's the same old story. Beeny does do her best to help them fall on their faces. How the hell could the electrics and plumbing come to over £10k? If the house is gutted then it's a doddle to rewire and plumb. Also, why did he have to use a lathe and plaster finish - if it's okay to stick an ultra modern loft window in a listed building who gives a crap about a traditional plaster finish.

My mum works for the local council planning section, and they were of the opinion that the guy was an utter numpty.
They didn't mention that the build was held up for sometime because the blokes son died just before christmas in a car crash (I think that the end dedicated the program to his memory) - so wasn't just held up through dire decisions!

And of course, at the end the average valuations come in at 194k (i think), so they put it on at 219K!! Guess what.. it didn't sell....
I am the only one waiting for the to show an episode where the project falls down completly due to stupid planning/ideas and the end up with a wreck they can't finish..?
