Rally/Track Driving Courses - 30th B'Day
With 4 months to go till i'm the big 30, everyone is asking what i want for a present.
I was thinking a 5-7 day course with a mixture of track of rally driving.
I am based in the south
Can anyone recommend somewhere?

I bought MrsD a midweek course at Bill Gwynne's, driving MkII Escorts in the morning and Impreza's in the afternoon, for Christmas. She's going on May 11th, so I'll let you know how she gets on.

Another vote for Bill Gwynne - great day out, but a weeks course will not be cheap. The Group N day that Sal mentioned is now nearer £450, but you could have just as much fun doing a day in the Mk2 Escorts - lots of tail-happy fun

Another vote for Bill Gwynne Rallyschool, I went there about 3 weeks ago. The GpN Impreza day costs £350 if you do it at Brackley, or £499 if you do it at Walters Arena (on the WRC stage).

..I've been there twice, and my son there once, for the one day course.
On my first time (many years ago), my instructor was David Higgins. I came first o/a and sprayed the bubbly The ride at the end was most impressive!
Second time, with my son, I *seem to remember* we had Papa Higgins, plus some other well-experienced instructors. My son was first o/a and sprayed the bubbly and I was last
Middle of nowhere, good/reasonable money for value - if you've big bucks to spend, I think they can customise something for one-on-one/two tuition rather than being there with 4/5 others. Give them a call - certainly a friendly bunch
