Help! Company Name?
I need to form my own limited company, like yesterday. All the technical side of it is in hand, but I don't have a clue what to call it. Suggestions?
I'm going to be doing contract work in telecoms, but I'd rather not mention it, or contracting / consulting in the name, that way I can use the co for other things too.
Fresh out of ideas...

It's a real problem. I had two requirements:
1) Must not be the same as another company on the Companies House website, nor one letter different (the other co can object and force you to change)
2) Must have a .com and a .co.uk domain available
I tried the most obscure words but they were already all gone. In the end I ended up with my daughter's name backwards.
I'd also advise you to pick a name whose spelling is obvious. Otherwise, when you're on the phone to someone and have to tell them your e-mail address, you'll end up spelling it out every time.

go for the classic "A1 telecoms" and get first place in the directorys when listed
