Decent dect phone answer machine thing
Any recommendations?
I had a phillips one a few years ago - that was pants. When I moved I got a BT/Sagem thing which has already given up the ghost after only two years. All I want is something that will answer the phone when I can't be bothered, and has 2 handsets so I don't have to spend my life running up the stairs to tell my brother that someone is on the phone for him.
cheers.

Got one of these. Very impressed so far. Also does remote mail so you can check messages away from home. We only got the single handset but the do twins as well..

Another vote for Panasonic - my Philips unit gave up about 6 months ago. Panasonic were far and away the best I tried as a replacement.

I have been looking at a replacement for my Philips Zenia (and previously Onis) for a while. The problem (with both) was the battery charging, which seemed to stop working after a couple of years (despite new batteries).
The 515ES seems to have a 515EM cousin (single and multiple?), so it looks like i have to find a good price on the latter!
