Layer Cake
Don't know what everyone thinks of this film. But have just watched it with the GF and was really impressed. Good British gangster film with plenty of twists. Thoroughly recommend it

Got it on DVD the other day. I've read the book a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Did I enjoy the film version? It was pretty good, but alas, as is usual, wasn't as good as the book, mainly as some things had to be given up to artistic licence.
I'd certainly recommend that you read the book if you liked the film

Not having read the book, I thought the film was excellent. A bit more intelligent than your average gangster movie. Well acted and with a good few plot twists.
