Noticed last/this week that Camilla's sister, IIRC, was in trouble for leaving the scene of an accident and that someone was injured. She was spoken to by police, but won't face prosecution.

Then Lord Somebodyorother gets stopped for doing well over 100mph AGAIN, third time, and isn't banned.

Meanwhile, Vic Reeves is in court for leaving the scene: he hit a parked car and no-one was injured, AFAIK, and he's likely to get a stiff sentence!

So how come these upper class twits can get away with it?

T.B.Liar promised to do away with the class system in the UK in '97, and has just promised again. Do we believe him?

It's very simple, and is to do with the legal system. Basically in the vast majority of court cases, the person with the most money wins.

I'm afraid even if Tony wanted to get away with the class system, he couldn't.

Here in Canada they deny that a class system exists (some will even get quite upset at the mere suggestion that it exists). They are wrong. It still exists, even if the "upper" classes here don't have swanky titles.

Time to introduce "Chav hunting". That'll keep all the horsey toffs happy as they can still hunt. It'll also keep the rest of us happy as it will keep the number of Chavs down. Now is anybody going to argue that hunting chavs with hounds is inhumane or do we need suggest poisoning and shooting up front as well?

They are certainly what is called upper class, whether they are twits or not cant be decided without actually meeting them and assessing their characters!

I agree that is is totally wrong that a person's sentence should be decided by their station in life. That Lord chap should have been banned without question with a motoring record like that. His personal transport to charitable meetings etc should not have entered the equation. Just an excuse I would imagine.

I don't know the facts about Camilla's sister's accident but why should she get preferential treatment if that is the case?

Vic Reeves deserved what he got for being stupid and irresponsible. I imagine that he would agree with that.

In the Sunday Times, someone in goverment commisioned a report into the subject. The outcome was not exact, but the number they estimate was at least 500,000 illegals in the country. What a mess. We are an island. It's not that difficult is it?
