There's no such thing as a bicep.
Biceps is the name for the singular muscle. The plural 's' in the name refers to the number of "heads" or points of origination the muscle has.
Same goes for triceps and quadriceps.

Muscle, my ****!! (m. gluteus maximus[buttock], or possibly **** sphincter) It's spongified erectile tissue, replete with nerve endings intended to maximise pleasure, thus ensuring that sexual intercourse remains a sought-after activity and that there will be continuation of the human race.

It has always bothered me when people talk of a single bicep. It's as daft as saying "A front-upper-arm muscles"
From a language point of view.

Human species within which are races.
I, of course, stand to be corrected.

Yes, yes.... "Human Race" is a lazy term; a matter of idiom. But it originates from a time when the two ideas of race and species were interchangeable in terms of "lower animals" at least.
