A nail gun works well
The more traditional way, open the bonnet, most have a catch in the middle, loop the ribon round that and shut the bonnet, you now have 2 bits loose. Take 1 to each mirror and ties round the mirror. Ribbon in place, no tape!

Or...
Open the drivers and passenger doors. Take the two long ribbons from above and tie them to the sun visors. Close doors.

Tie first end of ribbon to drivers sun visor frame.
Tension ribbon and loop through bonnet catch loop on bonnet.
Remove ribbon as its full of oil and crap.
Clean bonnet catch.

Don't use a white ribbon with silver bits in on WR Blue car. They stick to the paintwork and you need to polish them out!! Especially when it's wet and windy
Not that I've done it ;-)

Ian

Don't use ribbon. What you need is a 3" paintbrush and a can of white emulsion and paint the lines on..........that way you have 100% clear vision, remember, safety is very important........
