Worst and best you've ever.......
Please be brief with your replies, we don't want this getting too heavy ~
Q : What's the worst thing you've ever had to do ?
A : For me it was the night I told my two kids (then in their mid teens), that I was divorcing their dad. I shall never, ever, forget them clinging to each other in tears on the sofa. I felt about as low as a serpent's belly that night.
Q : What's the best thing you've ever done ?
A : Fast forward several years, and it's nothing I have done directly but it was the day I became a Grandma. Something I felt I was no way ready or old enough for, but ever since Max came on the scene, my whole life suddenly had an extra dimension, and a lot of stuff fell into place at last.

Worst : One of the worst things I have had to do was to go and see one of my best mates mum just after he had been murdered.
Best : Best thing I have done was to have 4 kiddies. Like apparition said it puts things in place.
Oh and also buying a scoob........

Tiggs.....Sorry to have offended you, this thread is obviously NOT for you.
Just thought it might be an interesting kick start for discussion and sharing which if I'm not mistaken..... this forum is all about ?
MOK79 Thanks for your input, this thread also goes to show that there's balance in the world, there's never an evil without a blessing as someone once told me.

Worst: Having to tell someone her daughter had ODed on paracetemol (survived, fortunately)
Best: Probably between accepting my degree certificate after 7 years studying with the Open Uni or as Jasey said

Worst: for obvious reasons - don't give me no grief....
Watching my ma die from complications from a brain tumour, and then the funeral, etc...
holding my staffy X looking into his eyes as he was put to sleep..
buckets of **** the both of them
Best: I've had many greats days, but glad to say I've not had my best.....YET!!!
If you've had your best day....isn't it all down hill from here on in?

Thanks folks........ just goes to show that there is always something good to counter the bad we have to suffer.
And thanks too for sharing some very painful memories, puts a lot of stuff into perspective when you realise what some people have had to deal with.
Interesting to see how many times birth comes up as the "Best" item, new beginings and all that I guess.
