memory card for phone problem
i thought id get myself a bigger memory card (mmc) for my nokia 6260, so i could use it as a mp3 player when i go on holiday. so i ordered a 1gb card, but when it arrived its physically bigger then the 32mb card that came with the phone(which is also a mmc card) the card works but does'nt fit properly because of where the battery sits and proturdes over the battery, and make the cover bulge. now a frind friend has another nokia phone with a upgraded card and it the same size as my 1gb card but his is located under the battery so there is no problem with fitting. is there any adapters that i could buy to make the card fit or am i fooked?

You needed to buy RS-MMC (Reduced Size MMC) card like this one. They come with adaptors to make the RS-MMC card fit in a MMC slot but not the other way around as that would involve Tardis like physical transformation

cheers, looks like i'll have to sell it and get another. anyone want a 1gb MMC, brand new never used, one careful owner.

paul i'm not sure, to be honest bought it because my phone has/took a MMC(multi media card) and assumed that they where all the same
now a mate has a different nokia phone and he tried it in his and it worked fine, as it did in my phone though i could'nt put the case on properly
