Talking Back to the Future Trilogy

Watched all three films last night I had almost forgotten how good they were (with the first being my favourite)!

Any other films you can recommend on a similar vein to BTTF?

Wasn't there Peggy Sue Got Married, which was supposed to be much "better" but released only a few mths later so everyone said "oh it's just a copy"? Never seen it meself. Stars Kathleen Turner in her prime IIRC.

I have them all in a box set - keeping promising myself a day with a case of Stella, take away pizza and the box set, haven't done it yet - got Rambo 1-3, Alien 1-4 and Bullsh*t series 1 & 2 to go after - better book a week off work!

In the games room we have the projector linked up to the Sky box, Stereo, Dvd player, Video player, playstation 2, the dreamcast (its mine and i like it) and the xbox

We watch sport ont he big screen, we game on the big screen, we watch action movies on the big screen. All hooked up to the stereo for better sounds (Tucked up in the attic, alongside the pool table, mahoosive scalextric track, juke box and bar sorry, had to brag )

The projector we have is a Toshiba ET1 (see clicky for details). The screen is just a pull up screen, I am sure these can be bought quite cheaply - I have no idea how much our one cost. or if you have a blank wall you can use one of those!

Go on, you know you want to!!

Of your 'Visual' budget, I'd always recommend that if you're going down the Projector route, that you spend the majority of your budget on the screen you're projecting onto. It's easy for a good projector to look crap if you use a poor screen.

Time travel type films - love 'em

12 Monkeys - thoroughly recommended (Bruce Willis).

Many others that I cann't remember the names to (great info Trash )

Frequency - Dennis Quaid as a firefighter communicating with his son in the future.

Millennium - Film about airplane occupants being removed and taken forward in time and bodies left in their place for when the plane crashes. Starred Cheryl Ladd from Charlie's angels (the series). .

Timecop - Van Damme (sp?)

if we are going down the projector route we can't forget a nice 5.1 package with subs to go with it!!!

we have a daddy sized Yamaha DSPAZ1 6.1/8.2! it rocks it's nuts off with a pair of Kef q75's 2x mordant short centres,2xmordant short surrounds & 2xkef front effect speakers with 2 mission subs! our neighbours love us!!

we had a projector but it was only any good at night.

saving for a large lcd as we speak!

Terminator = pants

LOTRs = not bad, but doesnt measure up to a well made film like BTTF

Bold it may be but cant be far off right

Robocop was fairly entertaining, probably a bit dated now.
Agree about original Star Wars, excellent.

The sequels for Robocop were rubbish though. The third one was terrible
