Just been doused in Optimax
Fooking frightning or what got the beast out this afternoon to give her a run round and noticed i was low on fuel, well 1/4 tank bet hey thats low so off i tottled round the corner to my local optimax centre on A52 at Priory island, well it closed again seems they have run out as i then went into town to fill up at the Shell station on London rd, near the Lace market, well as i pulled in there was a Blue scooby in there aswell. So we parked either side of the pump and stood yakking as you do while filling up, well as she went past the £40 mark the hose that connets to the nozzle split thus causing optimax to spray every where, all over me the scoob and the floor, well i yanked the nozzle out and throw the hose awy, still spraying opti all over, but cos i was on the opposite side filling up the hose caught against the spoiler so it didn'y go far, so again im getting sprayed, well the chap in the other scoob quickly shoved his fingers into the slot where the nozzle goes to halt the flow of optimax, but bu this time its all over me the car and the floor well, went into tell the attendant, who in a i don't give a sh!te attitude just said, oh yer can smeel it, i well tell the bloke when he gets back WTF love, im soaked in optimax, there's a puddle on the forecourt and ur gonna tell the bloke when he gets back well bully for you, petal, so i pay for my fuel in the car and whats over me and on the floor and goes.
Well have showered twice but it bloody stinks, have been onto Shell UK who put me straight through to there insurance office who i breifly explained what had happened, he was most apologetic, but hey there all are and just said send us a bill for the new clothes and the reciept for the petrol to us in Birmingham and we will reimburst you, so i did mention that it may well have affected the graphics on my car as well, no problem send us a estimate and we'll take care of it.
But must say a thank you to the guy driving the Blue WRX "N" reg for stemming the flow of opti pretty damn quick
Bloody scarey drive home i can tell ya, smelling of optimax isn't the wifes fav aftershave i must say
