FAO Scoobynet Guitarists.
What's a good site to advertise amps for sale?
I'm moving house soon and need to get rid of my Marshall JCM 900 Amp and 4x12 Cab.
Quite frankly I'm sick of moving it from house to house when I haven't even turned it on for about 2 years.
What are your recommendations?

E-bay's pretty good at getting rid of guitar kit quickly.
Other than that try
www.loot.com
www.admag.co.uk
I find the guitar magazines classified take forever to get printed.
Try any musicians classified too.
Good luck!

I'll try and make it. To be honest a 4x12 cab is probably a bit big for the spare bedroom - my Marshall 15w combo goes loud enough.
While this thread is attracting guitarists, I'm playing quite a few tunes in dropped D tuning but my bottom E seems really slack and has no tone when I detune it. Would a heavier string help e.g. .46 rather than .42.

GaryCat, there you are. The bug muff. Hubby decided against it. Wants one of those things that does everything. Does that make sense.
FrenchBoy, how big is this thing, before he comes and finds out about it?
