of a dove taken by Prince Philip and signed by him, its about 3' x 2'
is it worth anything, would you reckon?

It might be on USA eBay.com. I have a few photographs of mine listed on there, and they sell. Not for a fortune, but London sights - they love it, and they love celebs and royals more than we do.
If you list it on eBay though, you have to take a risk and go all out on the promotion, pay for it to be at the top of the searches maybe even on the homepage. They love royals and such like there. Just go to eBay.COM not co.uk and list it. I reckon you might just sell it.
