Surviving Extremes (TV Prog)
Watched a few of these this week - channel 4 I think. Geezer goes all over the world to check out extreme living conditions.
Last nights about these tribes who live up in 30m high tree houses in Papur New Guinea was excellent. The poor chap getting eaten alive by mossies whilst the guide bloke just walked on regardless.
The one in Greenland was also very intriguing. The amount of sunlight and waking up at 4am in the morning to find kids playing football on the street and the local town full of life.
Anyone else been watching?
Simon.

caught this last night - tried to series link it on the Sky+ without luck. Have I missed many ? Thought his style was very watchable.
To climb up to "The Big One" took ***** if he suffers from vertigo like he said.

Last night they did one on the Sahara Desert - he hated it but these women do what he did every few weeks.
Must admit the treehut one was fascinating. The tribe leaders look when he made the other drop him a rope for the big one lol.

I have only seen the ice and swamp episodes, but they were both entertaining in a strange way.
I didn't like all the dead animals (including an upright dead dog) on the ice show, I made the mistake of eating dinner at the time...lol
