Hmmmm... another hour after work that the coppers can use their lasers.. When the nice weather and long hours really kick in there'll be no stopping them. It's only dark and rain that keeps them from racking up the readies in the winter.

Always look on the bright side eh?

True - but it happens on a 4 day weekend this time, everyone should be able t sneak an extra hour in somewhere!!
Plus the hour of sleep deprivation is worth it for the countless extra we gain in sunlight

You fools. The clocks go back next weekend. Do it your way and you will end up two hours out!

No, it's "fall forward, spring back".
For example, see here:
http://www.grayblog.co.uk/index.php?p=2296
It's BST after the clocks go back

I can't believe that so many people still get this wrong.

Ah thats it, I couldnt remember the rest of the rhyme, probably cos its American.

But..if it goes dark now at 7pm, then you put the clocks forward to 8pm it goes dark later, therefore more light, thats whats confusing me.

LOL! I've got two degrees in astrophysics, so I know about things. I'm telling you, the clocks go back in the spring. If you want to put them forward that's fine by me, but I'll be on time from Sunday onwards and you'll be two hours early

How's that then? Did PSLewis suggest that the clocks go back an hour in autumn then? Can't see the humour in that.

No, you fool
He suggested they went forward one hour in the autumn (i.e. 7pm becomes 6pm) when of course they go back an hour (6pm becomes 7pm). So I just swapped it around for the spring

TBH, I don't think you're getting this. For a laugh, I suggested the clocks went back, i.e. 6pm becomes 7pm. MarkO saw through this (astute chap that he is). Of course the reality is the clocks go forward so 7pm becomes 6pm.
