Default buying concert tickets online

wanted to know if anybosy has used this site for buying concert tickets. also what was there service like and are they reliable. any help much appreciated

As far as I know - Piccadilly is an official source for the 'V Festival' tickets when I looked. It says this is a Piccadilly Group site or something. Cannot be too dodgy if its an official source, although I have never used them.

Personally, I've never had a problem ordering from www.seetickets.com or www.ticketweb.com if thats helps...

just wondering how long does it take for the tickets to arrive? also can you track the tickets after you've baught them?

I usually use www.ticketmaster.co.uk

they dont send tickets out til about 10 days before the event, was mighty suprised I got my england v northern Ireland footy tickets about a week after I bought them 2 whole months before the match.

thanks mate, so do they send you confirmation of your purchase in the post in the meantime until your tickets arrive?

You generally just get a confirmation e-mail I think.

Depends what sort of tickets you are buying. Regular small-venue concert tickets are despatched ASAP. Tickets for events like 'V' are despatched a lot later, i.e. very near to the event (as DaveGTT says).

i have also used this site loads of time never had a problem with them tickets have always turned up on time..

thanks guys didn't get a confirmation email but got confirmnation on screen which it says print out. the tickets are for elton john stadium tour...not for me for a friend whos into his music

never had a problem with ticketmaster, they are supposed to be the official site for ticket buying etc, only ever had emails for confirmation too but Ive never printed them off, just made a note of my booking reference, never had to chase them
